Mail-in DPF cleaning
You don't have to be in Nottingham. Take the filter off, send it to us by tracked courier, and we clean it on the Beacon DPF-CL and send it back. Call or message us first so we can quote and confirm where to send it.
Sending us a filter
Call or message first
Tell us the vehicle and the filter. We'll confirm the price, the address to send it to, and how to pack it. Please don't send anything before this step.
Remove and pack it
Leave sensors on where you can. Pack the filter so it can't shift in the box and the open ends are protected.
Send it tracked
Use a tracked courier so you can follow it. Let us know the tracking number and we'll watch for it.
We assess, then clean
We check the ceramic first. If it's cracked, melted or oil-soaked we'll call you rather than clean something that won't hold.
Back to you, tracked
Cleaned and returned by tracked courier. Refit it, clear the codes, and you're sorted.
Mail-in questions
How should I package the filter?
Wrap it so the ceramic cannot move inside the box and the open ends are protected. Speak to us before you send it and we will talk you through it — a filter that arrives cracked in transit cannot be cleaned.
Should I leave the sensors on?
Leave sensors attached where you can. Removing them risks damaging the sensor or the threads in the housing, which turns a cleaning job into a parts bill.
How long will I be without it?
It depends on the filter and the courier. Call us before you send and we will agree a realistic timescale so you can plan around it.
What if it turns out the filter can't be saved?
We will tell you as soon as we have assessed it, along with the reason, before doing any work you would be paying for.
